History's Future Pub Crawl
‘History’s Future’ Pub Crawl
On February 9th ‘History’s Future’ held its first Pub Crawl in conjunction with the Port City Young Professionals. Over 60 young members and friends joined us to discover the past of Front Street Brewery, Slainte, Blue Post and Lula’s. Our dear friends and members Beverly Tetterton and Amy Fulbright narrated the tour. Door prizes were awarded at each stop.
‘History’s Future is a newly formed division of the Historic Wilmington Foundation designed to engage our younger members. ‘History’s Future’s mission is to motivate its members to take an interest in the city’s treasures and take stock in its heritage. We aim to accomplish this initiative through education on historic preservation, cultural and exciting social events.
